Letter from Editor-in-Chief,

Fashion isn’t just fabric—it’s a language. My first language. The way I whispered secrets, declared my identity, and told the world who I was without saying a word. My name is Violet, and this is Violet & Blair: my love letter to fashion, storytelling, and every dreamer who treats style as a lifeline.

From school fashion shows to Texas Fashion Week, I discovered fashion’s pulse—grit and glamour colliding in a rush of lights, seams, and obsession. Violet & Blair was born from that tension: not a glossy façade, but a style anthology that is raw, daring, and alive.

This debut issue, Second Skin, asks what happens when clothes stop being clothes and become inseparable from who we are. Fashion as armor, desire, truth.

This magazine is for you—the dreamers, the outsiders, the ones who know a great outfit can change a life.

Violet & Blair is more than a magazine—it’s a movement. With every issue, we give back to causes that matter. Because fashion is at its best when it doesn’t just dress the world but helps change it.
